Special Classes for Homeschool Individuals and Groups

	Level III  Coach Aubrey Webster

My name is Aubrey Webster. I am an archery coach at the Easton Newberry Archery Center. We have recently develop an archery class specifically geared towards homeschoolers.

This class will begin the first week of September. It is open to children 8-17 who are interested in archery or just looking for a fun new experience. No prior experience is necessary as this class will help introduce new archers to the sport.

For me, archery was an integral part of growing up. I was homeschooled K-12 and became involved with the sport through a homeschool class nearly seven years ago. Archery opened the door for many amazing experiences including traveling around the United States for tournaments and meeting people from around the world. I was able to develop skills such as self motivation, discipline, self confidence, and body awareness. Most importantly, it gave me a better understanding of myself and my strengths and my weaknesses. I would be a very different person today if not for archery.

Our new homeschool class is very similar to the one that got me started. Whether you take the sport to the competitive level or as a recreational activity, I recommend it as a really unique and fun experience.
